Reduce Review Time for Differentials

  • Plan for increasing workload without increasing labor
  • Reduce the time to review each smear
  • Utilize experienced technologists' skill and time more effectively
Standardize Your Lab’s Differential Results
  • Reduce subjectivity of cell identification with automatic cell location and pre-classification
  • Standardize quality of results
  • Promote confidence within your lab by using the optional competency software
Enhance Technologists' Morphology Skills
  • Simplify training with an on-board reference cell image library
  • Allow hospital services to access, review and report results from any location using stored images
  • Collaborate in real-time with clinicians

Improve Employee Satisfaction

  • Performing differentials with the DM1200 does not fatigue eyes, necks or wrists like microscopy can
  • Simplify scheduling and staffing

Automatic cell location and preclassification improves resource utilization, the quality of results and employee satisfaction.  One specific labor benefit is that highly skilled medical technologists are able to spend more time on difficult cases that require careful analysis and assessment.  The ability to archive enables hospitals to look at previous cell images for long term case management.
Efficiency
Automatic cell location and preclassification, along with unique cell views, reduce the time spent performing differentials, training new technologists and monitoring proficiency.
Proficiency
The DM1200 allows different technologists to perform differentials at the same high level of consistency.  The system provides traceability of results at the individual cell level.
Connectivity
Multiple remote review stations provide supervisory review, inter-/intra-lab comparison and the opportunity for real-time collaboration with pathology.
Collaboration
As a result of network integration, the DM1200 saves clinicians time with remote real-time access to a patient’s image history.
