The Sysmex Lavender Top Management solution includes integrated tube sorting and archiving onto the HST-N automation platform. Powered by Intelligent Automation of Sysmex WAM, this solution raises your level of productivity and decreases overall operational cost by eliminating the need for pre- and post-analytical sample sorting and management.

The automation of lavender top tube sorting, searching, rerunning and archiving is achieved through the integration of TS-Series tube sorter systems onto the HST-N. Two models of tube sorters, TS-500 and TS-2000, are available to meet the lavender top sample handling needs of small to very high volume laboratories.

TS-Series Tube Sorters, in conjunction with the HST-N return line or other HST configurations, allow for complete management of lavender top tubes from
pre-analytical sorting to hands-free repreat/reflex testing and post-analytical sorting.

Intelligent automation software, Sysmex WAM, allows the system to:

Sort and archive lavender top tubes based on pending and lab-prioritized test codes
Input to on-board sort areas based on specific test code and testing area needs

Onboard, user-defined sorting areas allow laboratories to maximize sample handling workflow. Internal dual buffers allow the system to reroute samples and racks to a maximum of two different onboard testing needs such as:

Instrument or slide preparation unit for re-run/reflex testing
Additional lavender top testing, e.g., Hemoglobin A1c (Bio-Rad VARIANT II TURBO Link)

Integrated intelligent automation software provided by Sysmex WAM allows further enhancement of sample management such as:

Identification of sample location within the specific area on the TS unit
Location of sample off the system, providing the specific archive rack and tube position
