Most labs have a goal to standardize work processes across all the testing sites in order to ease the movement of technologists between locations and between shifts.  Sysmex WAM operates with a centralized rules library that governs auto-validation and displays operator alerts based on your standard operating procedures (SOP's).  This feature supports adherence to your SOP's without relying on sticky notes or “tribal knowledge”.

And yet there are always exceptions such as dialysis or oncology clinics.  No worries – you can define a single rule set for the majority of sites and sub-site rules to handle unique situations.

Connecting multiple operating sites to a centralized database allows you to deploy auto-validation even to your smallest clinics.  When auto-validation exceptions occur, your experienced technologists can easily access results to perform a consultative review.

In a multi-entity or multi-LIS environment using a single medical record number (MRN) to identify the patient across the enterprise, Sysmex WAM allows you to perform delta checking between facilities.
