The analyzers are developed to support analysis of multiple species:

  • WBC Differential – delivers comprehensive pre-classification into 12 cell types
  • RBC Review – identifies an optimized area of the slide to review morphological characteristics

  • Feathered Edge Scan – presents an overview image of the smears feathered edge

The user loads a stained slide into the magazine and places it on CellaVision DM1200 Vet or DM9600 Vet analyzer. The system scans and reads the slide barcode. CellaVision software finds the cell images and displays them digitally so laboratorians and researchers can view slides by computer monitor using convenient remote review software from any laboratory site. Innovative image analysis technology delivers a pre-classification of white blood cells and of red blood cell morphology for review and verification.
